Files are processed in the displayed order. Encrypted PDFs are not supported. Editing invalidates digital signatures; forms and bookmarks may not be preserved. Up to 20 files and 30 MB total. Results are limited to 100 MB. Mixed images can be resized and rotated before PDF creation.
Conversion happens locally. Refreshing or closing this tab clears the workspace; downloaded files remain on your device.
Merge PDF: conversion behavior
Combine PDF files locally without uploading their contents. Pages are copied into one new document in the displayed file order.
Use it to assemble unsigned, unencrypted PDFs. Keep original documents when signatures or interactive features matter.
- Reorder files before conversion. The page order inside each source document is retained.
- Up to 20 input files and 30 MB total are allowed, with at most 500 output pages.
- Encrypted or damaged files are rejected; this tool does not unlock documents.
- Digital signatures do not stay valid. Forms, bookmarks and other document-level features are not guaranteed to survive.
Two documents. Three pages. One order.
Add sample A before sample B. The result contains A1, A2, then B1. Move B above A to get B1, A1, A2. These are synthetic, unsigned PDFs with visible page labels.
Check page count, labels and page dimensions. PDF bytes may differ between runs because document metadata can change. This sample does not test signatures, forms or bookmarks.
Questions about Merge PDF
Are PDFs uploaded for merging?
No. This version reads and combines them in your browser. The server delivers website assets, not file processing.
Will digital signatures stay valid?
No. The output is a new document. Keep the signed originals when signature validation matters.
